There’s Nothing Quite Like a Peace of Mind


A healthy mind leads to a healthy lifestyle. Without a healthy mind, I really don’t see how one can get far. We get so caught up into our day-to-day lives, and we forget to take the time to properly care for our mental health. Before we know it, we are wrecking everything we touch. Simply because we are worn out. Mental health is very serious, and I will be more than happy to reassure you that you must make time for it. It’s definitely all in your head. The things that you think about are what consumes your energy and your time. Allow me to encourage you to practice healthy habits by allowing your mind to flourish. Let’s break away from those unhealthy environments that are stopping our mind from growing (flourishing).

Work on it. 

  • Don’t run from it. Deal with it. Running has led you here in the first place. Stop letting bad thoughts linger on in your mind.
    • 1. Figure out what it is. Be real with yourself. Let it all out – it’s okay!
    • 2. Start thinking about the positive things that come from the thought. If nothing positive about it comes to mind, let it go. It’s obviously not worthy to be thinking of.
    • 3. Create some new hobbies that you enjoy doing so that your mind won’t have time to think about unhealthy thoughts. (Write/Create a Journal, Exercise, Create DIY projects, Take some classes, Visit a beach, Read a book, Meditate, etc.)
  • Remember: either you are going to handle it, or it is definitely going to handle you. Declare that your mind is healed.

“That’s just how I am.”

  • This is the most disappointing thing to say and hear. Stop settling for the old you. It’s obviously time for you to start something new and different. You always think bad things, so your energy and mindset has been unhealthy for so long. Well, start something new. Start thinking positive. By accepting “that’s just how I am,” you are training your mind to be poisonous and you are hindering your growth. It’s impossible to flourish if you know that you’re creating bad energy, but you refuse to change it because “That’s just how I am.” Switch off your small-minded mentality and turn on your expanded and growing mentality.

These are only a few tips to help you train your mind to be healthy. At least for a start, this will help you out with the process of breaking away from an unhealthy mind and bad energy.
